Akeru was created by Sylvia Sturman, who has many years experience in the Health and Beauty Industry.

Having qualified in Beauty Therapy at Warwickshire College, Sylvia ran a successful beauty salon in Leamington Spa. She went on to train in Holistic Therapies including Indian Head Massage, Thermo Auricular Therapy and Reiki levels 1and 2. Wanting to offer her ever growing clientele a wider range of treatments she expanded her business by opening a Holistic Health Centre offering a wide variety of therapies, carried out by highly qualified therapists.

Sylvia  moved to Malvern eight years ago, bringing with her a passion for people and their well being, using the wealth of knowledge and expertise developed over 25 years. Whether you’re looking for a luxury facial, foot care or a simple eyebrow shape, Akeru offers a haven to escape the pressures of  everyday life and promises a thorough and professional service.

Being very keen on Continued Personal Development and a desire to keep abreast of advanced training, since moving to Malvern Sylvia has qualified as a Specialist Foot Health Practitioner and is delighted to offer her clients professional care of their feet in addition to a wide range of Beauty and Holistic treatments.
